INTERNATIONAL STUDIES ASSOCIATION

PUBLICATIONS

The Association sponsors five journals of the highest quality in international relations. International Studies Quarterly (ISQ) started in conjunction with the Association as its flagship journal. More recently, two other journals have been added. The International Studies Review (ISR) is critically acclaimed for its synthesis of theory and literature, and its broad interdisciplinary and multinational perspective on the field. International Studies Perspectives (ISP) focuses on teaching, policy application, and controversies in the field. Foreign Policy Analysis provides a peer-reviewed outlet for the highest quality academic research into the processes, outcomes and theories of foreign policy. And finally, in 2007, International Political Sociology will debut as an interdisciplinary journal responding to the diversification of both scholarly interests and regional concerns in contemporary international studies. With these journals and our new quarterly electronic newsletter ISA strives to bring you the latest news about the field and its practitioners. The combined circulation of our journals (both individual and institutional subscribers) is worldwide in scope (world circulation map PDF file) and has seen significant increases, particularly in online access (online access PDF file).

Our publisher, Blackwell, is one of the world's leading academic publishers. With 923 staff members in offices in the US, UK, Australia, Japan, Denmark, and Germany, Blackwell publishes over 700 journals in partnership with more than 550 academic and professional societies.
