Welcome Exhibitors!

The International Studies Association (ISA), the most widely known and respected organization of scholars in the field of International Studies, is hosting its 43rd Annual Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, March 24-27, 2002. The theme for the 2002 Convention is Dissolving Boundaries: The Nexus Between Comparative Politics and International Relations.

The ISA is proud of its worldwide membership and interdisciplinary focus inclusive of 21 area-study Sections. Additionally, the ISA cooperates regularly with 53 international studies organizations in 32 countries. The ISA Annual Convention of February 2001 attracted more than 2500 attendees from around the globe and attendance is anticipated to be even greater in 2002.

ISA invites you to join our ever-expanding population of Exhibitors and Advertisers. In order to promote your company’s convention participation, the ISA offers discounted advertising rates to those Exhibitors choosing to take advantage of both of these positive and strategic marketing opportunities. ISA welcomes all interested Exhibitors and Advertisers to participate in the ISA Annual Convention in the manner that best facilitates the needs and goals of their organizations.

The Convention Exhibit Area is frequently used by the convention attendees as a meeting place, affording your business a congenial atmosphere in which you may promote products, exhibit publications and/or works-in-progress, and share information with potential clients and customers. This year the ISA Presentation Paper Sales area, Email Station, and Coffee Service will be located in the Grand Ballroom of the New Orleans Marriott - directly across from the Registration Area. These activities will serve as a magnet to draw participants to the Exhibition area.

The International Studies Convention Program is provided to every attendee of the Convention as part of his or her registration package. The Program dedicates a section to Exhibitors and Advertisers by providing a list of participating organizations and an index to advertisements.  Placing an ad in the Convention Program is the perfect compliment to Exhibitor participation; alternatively, it allows your company to reach a widely diverse audience even if your company is unable to attend the Convention.

On behalf of the entire staff at ISA Headquarters, thank you for your interest and we look forward to working with you in New Orleans!

Jeanne White

ISA Convention Coordinator
