Tenure-track Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Development Management

The London School of Economics and Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position in Development Management, with a starting date of 1 September 2010. Candidates' research focus should be located at the intersection of some of the following fields: comparative political economy, institutional economics, political sociology, economic anthropology and economic history. Applicants must have a proven record of high quality, methodologically-rigorous (qualitative and/or quantitative) research in the developing world, preferably with field work and an applied interest in policy. The position is open with regard to regional specialization. LSE salaries and benefits are highly competitive, and the School and the United Kingdom offer generous opportunities for research funding. The successful applicant will co-teach the core course of the MSc in Development Management.
